Merton Coll., Oxon, B.A. 1870, from Winchester Coll., a student of Lincoln's Inn 22 April, 1872 (then aged 24), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1875 (2nd son of Rev. John Woodruff, vicar of Upchurch, Kent); born 30 June, 1847; married 6 June, 1882, Emily Louisa, eldest dau. of W. H, Hewett, Esq., of Norton Court, Somerset.
