Woods, Matthew Snooke Grosvenor, M.A. (formerly fellow and assistant tutor), Trin. Coll., Camb., 1863, assumed the surname of Woods in lieu of Snooke, a student of Lincoln's Inn 23 Nov., 1861 (then aged 23), called to the bar 9 June, 1865 (only son of Matthew Snooke, Esq., of Chichester); born 14 March, 1838; married 14 Aug., 1877, Mary Amabel, youngest dau. of late John V. Thompson, serjeant-at-law.
