     estrenarse to open (of a play) Esa obra se estrenó en Broadway la semana pasada. That play opened on Broadway last week.
  • estropear to ruin, damage Los niños han estropeado el radio. The boys have ruined the radio.  to spoil Su dimisión estropeó nuestros planes. His resignation spoiled our plans.
     estropearse to be out of order La plancha eléctrica se ha estropeado. The electric iron's out of order.

     examinarse to be examined, take (an) examination(s) Tendrán que examinarse de español e inglés. They'll have to take examinations in Spanish and English.
