FOR the more effeftual putting in Execution of an AS: of Parliament made in the fourteenth Year of 15 &i4Car. i. J your Majefty's Reign, intituled, An ASi for the better Relief of the Poor of this Kingdim; and to the '^^ '^- I End that the Poor of the feveral Parifhes within the City and Liberties of TFeftminJler, and other Parifhes Wthin tht CoMntY of Middlefex, mentioned within the Weekly Bill of Mortality, may for the future be duly provided for, according to the Intent and Meaning of the laid Aft, May it pleafe your moft Excellent ^, ^^ ^ ,_ Majefty that it may be enadtcd ; (2) And be it enadled by the King's moft Excellent Majcfty, by and with to whom'r'hc the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament Money, whe™ affembled, and by the Authority of the fame. And whereas fome Accounts have been made by the former Governors, of Part of the Monies raifed 1 ' by the Aft aforefaid, and fome of them ftand engaged for Payment of certain Sums of Money, which were : ' borrowed and expended in Purfuance of the faid former Aft :' Be it further enafted, That all fuch Ac- counts which fliall appear to the faid Juftices (not having been Governors of the faid Corporations) to have been made according to the Aft aforefaid, fliall be and are hereby ratified and confirmed; and that fuch.. j Monies as have not been accounted for as aforefaid, fliall be accounted for according as in the faid Aft is . 1 provided.
