That all Monies lent and to be lent to his Majefty upon one Act of this Seflion of Parliament, intituled, An Ad for granting an Aid to his Majejly by a Land-Tax to be raifed in Great Britain, for the Service of the Year one thoufand [even hundred Application of an d twenty-five, and fo much Money (if any fuch be) of the Tax thereby granted, as fhall arife, and re- th a M ?"'f s main after all the Loans made, or to be made on the fame Aft., or thereby transferred, or directed to be Seflion viz. transferred thereunto, and all the Intereft. thereof, and the Charges thereby allowable for raifing the faid Land Tax, fhall be fatisfied, or Money fufEcient fhall be refervod in the Exchequer to difcharge the f.me ; and all the Money lent or to be lent to his Majefty, by Virtue of this prefent Aft, and fo much of the Duties on Malt, Mum, Cyder and Perry, thereby granted" or continued, as {hall arife or remain (if any fuch be) after all the Loans hereby direfted to be made, and all the Intereft thereof, and the Charges thereby allowable for raifing the fame Duties, fhall be fatisfied, or Money fufficient fhall be re- ferved to difcharge the fame; and the Sum of thirteen thoufand and ten Pounds feven Shillings and two Pence three Farthings, remaining in the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer, on Arrears of former Land T'axes, fhall be appropriated and applied, and are hereby appropriated for and towards the feveral Ufes, Intents and Purpofes herein expreffed; fubject neverthelefs to fuch Reftrictions as are herein 57.9 51 '• 5 s - after prefcribed, (that is to fay ;) It is hereby enacted and declare'd, That out of all or any the Aids or i± 2q iFund" e Supplies aforefaid there fhali and may be iffued and applied any Sum not exceeding fifty-feven thoufand nine hundred fifty-three Pounds five Shillings and nine Pence>Half-penny, to make good the Deficiency of the Fund, commonly called the General Fund, for raifing feven hundred twenty-four thoufand ei^ht hundred forty-nine Pounds fix Shillings and ten Pence and one fifth Part of a Penny per Annum, for the Year ended at Michaelmas one thoufand feven hundred twenty-four. 734,2951. 14s. And it is hereby likewife enafted, That out of all or any the Aids or Supplies provided as afore- 8d. iq. for fad, there fhall or may be ifTued and applied any Sum or Sums of Money, not exceeding in the whole the &c> " ' Sum of nine hundred and twelve thoufand nine hundred fixty-eight Pounds two Shillings and eight Pence Farthing, for or towards maintaining his Majefty's Land-Forces, and other Services herein after more particularly expreffed; That is to fay, any Sum, not exceeding fix hundred fifty-four thoufand four hun- dred eighty-eight Pounds feventeen Shillings and eight Pence, for defraying the Charge of eighteen thou- fand two hundred fixty-four effective Men, including Commiffion and Non-Commiflion Officers and In- valids, for Guards, Garrifons and other his Majefty's Land-Forces in Great Britain, Jerfey and Guemfey, and other Services relating to the Forces for the Year one thoufand feven hundred twenty-five; and any Sum or Sums of Money not exceeding one hundred fifty-two thoufand fix hundred thirty-feven Pounds fixteen Shillings and five Pence Half-penny, for maintaining his Majefty's Forces and Garrifons in the Plantations, Minorca and Gibraltar, and for Provifions for the Garrifons of Annapolis Royal, Placentia and Gibraltar for the Year one thoufand feven hundred and twenty-five; and any Sum and Sums of Money not exceeding twelve thoufand Pounds, upon Account for Out-Penfioners of Chelfea Hofpital for the Year one thoufand feven hundred twenty-five ; and any Sum and Sums of Money not exceeding fixteen thou- fand eight hundred forty-one Pounds eight Shillings and Jix Pence three Farthings, for defraying feveral extraordinary Expences, and Services incurred, and not provided for by Parliament, on Account of Pro- vifions for the Garrifon of Gibraltar, and for a Lofs by Bills of Exchange drawn by Mofes Beran<rer in the Year one thoufand feven hundred twenty-one, for remitting Subfiftence to his Majefty's Forces in Minorca and Gibraltar, which were returned protefted, and on Account of what is due to the Garrifon of Placentia, Surplus of this and the four Jate Independent Companies of that Garrifon, between the twenty-fourth Day of April one Sum, appro- thoufand feven hundred and thirteen, and the twenty-fourth Day of Augujl one thoufand feven hundred pnated. anc j f everlteer , 5 w hen the foid Companies were regimented ; and any Sum and Sums of Money not exceed- }?°' ' ' ' ing feventy-feven thoufand Pounds, upon Account of Half-pay to the reduced Officers of his Majefty's- Land-Forces and Marines, for the Year one thoufand feven hundred twenty-five, fubjeft neverthelefs to fuch Rules to be obferved in the Application of the foid Half-pay, as are herein after prefcribed concern- ing the fame; and any Sum and Sums of Money not exceeding thirty-feven thoufand nine hundred thirty- one Pounds nine Shillings and ten Pence Half-penny, towards making good the Deficiency of the Grants for the Service of the Year one thoufand feven hundred twenty-four.
