We deeply deplore our past follies and transgressions, and feel that our iniquities have separated between us and Thee, and that our sins have hid Thy face from us. O help us to repent and turn unto Thee, with full purpose of heart and life. O let Thy face shine upon us, and we shall be saved.

LMIGHTY LORD GOD and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Father of all mercics and the giver of all good, assist us we beseech Thee, by thy Spirit, to render unto Thee the sincere praises and thanksgivings of our hearts. We bless and thank Thee for that goodness and mercy which have followed us all the days of our lives. Help us. O Lord, to worship Thee in sincerity and in truth, as well as in the beauty of holiness.

To Thee may we constantly look for all that we stand in need of, both in time and eternity. Thee we acknowledge to be the everlasting light of the world, and the life of men. Thou art the only true and living way—the Word made flesh—the brightness of whose glory we see, and the God over all, blessed for evermore, whom we adore.

O heavenly Father, raise us above the grovelling spirit of this world, that we may receive of Thy spirit and be fashioned in Thy likeness. Tune our hearts to Thy praise, that so we may ascribe to Thee all might, majesty, dominion, and everlasting praise.
