May 16, 1g2S_ Be it enacted, ¢§·c., That there be granted to William Hambly and Edmund Doyle, each, a tract of land of six hundred and forty acres, in Au-acl0f1am] one body, in lieu of tracts of the same quantity, which they respectively g1‘¤p¤¢d¤0 ¤h¤¤¤ claimed, and were entitled to by the opinion of the commissioners for “' l‘°“°£ &‘°‘ ascertaining claims and titles to land in West Florida, situated on the Appalachicola river, and which, by a late treaty with the Indians of the territory of Florida, were reserved for chiefs, to be located on uninhabited lands, under the direction of the receiver and register of the land office of West Florida, within twelve months from the passage of this act; and that they be, respectively, entitled to patents for the same, upon the presentation of certilicates of survey thereof, to the Commissioner of the General Land Oihce; and that, if the location be not made before the survey of the public lands, the said tract shall be bounded by sectional lines: Provided, That this act shall only be considered as a re- Proviso. linquishment of title on the part of the United States.
