Act

To repeal sections 184A and 184B(1)(a), (b) and (d) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1993; and to provide for matters connected therewith.


Be it enacted by the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa, as follows:―


Repeal of sections 184A and 184B(1)(a), (b) and (d) of Act 200 of 1993

1. Sections 184A and 184B(1)(a), (b) and (d) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1993, are hereby repealed.


Short title and commencement

2. This Act is called the Repeal of Volkstaat Council Provisions Act, 2001, and must be regarded as having taken effect on 30 April 2001.
