- I don't get it. When does fair use apply? Several historical documents have been deleted, under the official reason that they were translations, and that copyright does apply to translations (e.g. english translations of Mein Kampf, of the Sportpalast speech by Goebbels). Of course, I do not support the content of these texts, but I believe they have a value as historical documents. If copyright is the issue, I believe that it was ridiculous to delete them, because nobody will ever claim copyright on those texts. But I did not say anything, because I did not want to interfere with your copyright policy. Now, I realize that your copyright policy is different for nazi texts and for communist texts.
