Volumes 1 and 2 of Farrand’s The Records of the Federal Convention of 1787 include running page headers. This template was created to ease the process of marking those headers and to ensure consistency from page to page. The template accepts three arguments, corresponding to the text to be included in the left, center, and right-hand sides of the running header. Thus,

produces the output:
