Funeral of Professor Boulger

The funeral of Professor George Simonds Boulger, the botanist, who died at Richmond last week, took place yesterday, at Richmond Cemetery, in the presence of many friends, A Requiem Mass was sung at St. Elizabeth's (R.C.) Church. The congregation included Mr. R. Paulson, president of the Essex Field Club, Mr. W. Wright, secretary of the Geologists' Association, Dr. S. E. Chandler, of the Imperial Institute, Mr. Boyd Watt, holder of the Gilbert White Fellowship, Mr. J. Brittain, editor of the Journal of Botany, Mrs. Plomer-Young, of the South-East Union of Scientific Societies, and Major Wegg-Prosser, president of the Society of St. Vincent and St. Paul.
