My name is Manoel Fernández Neto and I was born in Rio de Janeiro City, but live in a city called Petrópolis (one hour drive from where I was born). I am a Professor and teach Portuguese language and brazilian literature. I got my Master degree at UFRJ (Rio de Janeiro Federal University) and, at present, I am a researcher and work as a teacher in a public school. In my spare time I volunteer to build a better world through the Internet, trying to contribute in all ways to spread the knowledge to everyone that wants to have it.

I am an administrator on Portuguese Wikisource.

Participation

I created a Project based on the Project in English language, thinking it could be helpful to us all and my goal is to create others.

My plans here

Be a volunteer to some Projects that seem to have been abandoned and also try and bring some of the Brazilian books, already in public domain, through version, to the English Project. Another idea is to connect people from the English Project to the Project in Portuguese, so we can also exchange ideas and make it grow together.
