Hello Alansohn, welcome to Wikisource! Thanks for your interest in the project; we hope you'll enjoy the community and your work here.

You'll find an (incomplete) index of our works listed at Wikisource:Works, although for very broad categories like poetry you may wish to look at the categories like Category:Poems instead.

Please take a glance at our help pages (especially Adding texts and Wikisource's style guide). Most questions and discussions about the community are in the Scriptorium.

The Community Portal lists tasks you can help with if you wish. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page! John Vandenberg (chat) 04:09, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

p.s. the OCR bot doesnt like low res./low quality pagescans such as that. Do you want me to delete the page, or do you intend to type it up? John Vandenberg (chat) 04:09, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just trying to test out the function. I will type away. Alansohn 04:29, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
No worries. Let us know if anything isn't intuitive, as constructive criticism will help us make it easier for the next person. The local developer of that tool, ThomasV, often addresses problems if there is consensus on our village pump that the improvements are important.
If you have a specific interest beyond this small project, I can set up a transcription project for you. Any language, and topic - we can usually obtain original pagescans of the book in question. John Vandenberg (chat) 04:35, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
