Do you know who is the translator for Heiligenstadt Testament? If you do, would you mind adding the detail to the page. Just to also note that I made some amendments to that page to comply with our preferred style. Nice letter! -- billinghurst (talk) 07:56, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I don't know the translator. I copied the text from the page on en.wikipedia; it may appear in the book referenced on the page there. There are translations widely available on the internet, so it is unlikely that there are copyright issues for some translation, if not this specific one. There is a translation here, published in 1921, if you want to compare them. I wouldn't know which of Thayer's translators did it, if indeed one of them (rather than an earlier writer) was responsible for that version.

Deleting Treaty of Amiens[edit]
Gday. Unfortunately I am going to need to delete Treaty of Amiens (English translation). You provide the source as a website, and at the bottom of the linked page it says "All rights reserved" which the translation would still be copyright and does not put into the public domain. If you can find a public domain version of the translation of the treaty then we can put that into that place. — billinghurst sDrewth 02:43, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Um. The text is not a translation. If you had bothered to follow the other link provided, substantially the same text was published there. (I did not do a word-by-word comparison, and only copied the text from napoleon-series because copying from Google Books is a PITA.) Magicpiano (talk) 21:49, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
