Salvation? Oh the joyful sound!
⁠'Tis pleasure to our ears,
A healing balm for ev'ry wound,
⁠A comfort for our fears.

Salvation! let the echo fly
⁠The spacious earth around,
While all the Angels of the sky,
⁠Assist to swell the sound.

Salvation! Oh Thou Heav'nly Lamb!
⁠To Thee the praise belongs;
Salvation shall inspire our hearts,
⁠And dwell upon our tongues.
