HYMN 3.

Almighty Father ! rob'd with light,
Seated upon Thy heav'nly throne,
O teach our hearts to feel aright,
And tongues to say "Thy will be done."

In all Thy just and righteous ways
Thy grace and goodness may we own,
For ev'ry mercy yield our praise,
And say, O Lord, "Thy will be done."

And when oppress'd with grief we lie,
When brighter scenes are fled and gone,
Still may our souls submissive cry,
Father in Heav'n, "Thy will be done."
