Prichett, John, s. Walter, of Hillingdon, Middx., pleb. (after Lord Mayor). Queen's Coll., matric. 12 Dec., 1623, aged 18 (subs. Pritchett); B.A. from St. Edmund Hall 30 Jan., 1626-7, M.A. 11 June, 1629; D.D. Lambeth 25 Oct., 1664, rector of Bratoft, co. Lincoln, 1634, rector of St. Andrew Undershaft 1641-64, canon of St. Paul's 1662, rector of Harlington, Middlesex, 1661-81, vicar of St. Giles, Cripplegate, London, 1664, and bishop of Gloucester 1672, until his death at Harefield, Middlesex, 1 Jan., 1680-1.
