Lincoln Coll., matric. 20 March, 1839, aged 18; scholar 1839-43, B.A. 1842, M.A. 1845, B.C.L. & D.D. 1860, held various curacies 1845-66, vicar of St. John Baptist, Harlow, 1871-4, rector of St. Leonard's, Colchester, 1874-86, and of Fairstead since 1886.
