Maurice, Thomas, s. Thomas, of Hertford (town), gent. St. John's Coll., matric. 6 May, 1774, aged 19; B.A. from University Coll. 1778, M.A. 1808, Oriental scholar and historian, chaplain 87th regiment about 1784, vicar of Wormleighton, co. Warwick, 1798-1824, and of Cudham, Kent, 1804-24, assistant-keeper of the MSS. British Museum 1798, until his death 30 March, 1824.
