Exeter Coll., matric. 5 July, 1760, aged 13; B.A. 1764, fellow 1765-80, M.A. 1767, B.Med. 1770, D.Med. 1776, B.D. 1778, one of Dr. Radcliffe's travelling physicians (or fellows) 1771-80, F.R.C.P. 1778, president 181 1- 13. pnysician Middlesex Hospital 1777-9, physician extraordinary to the Royal Household 1785, etc., and physician to George III. 1806, F.R.S., created a baronet 28 Nov., 1800, died 27 June, 1821.
