Pears, James, s. James, of St. Mary Magdalen, Oxford (city), arm. New Coll., matric. 28 July, 1795, aged 17; B.C.L. from St. Mary Hall 1810, classical master Marlow (Sandhurst), master of Bath Grammar School 1823. and rector of Charlecombe, Somerset, 1823, until his death 21 Jan., 1853.
