Balliol Coll., matric. 13 Dec., 1816, aged 18; scholar 1817-20, B.A. 1820, fellow 1820-35, M.A. 1823, B.D. 1830, proctor 1829, tutor 1824, senior dean 1825, bursar 1827, catechetical lecturer, preb. of St. Paul's 1843, rector of St. Remwald's 1824-51, of St. Nicholas 1830-46, and of All Saints, Colchester, 1851, until his death 27 Aug., 1860.
