John Farrell
(1851–1904)

Argentinean-born of Irish parentage, this Australian poet, brewer and journalist contributed to the Queanbeyan Age and the Bulletin. He was also editor of the Lithgow Enterprise and Australian Land Nationaliser, the Australian Standard, and (briefly) the Daily Telegraph. He was heavily involved in lobbying for taxation reform.
