GERONIMO who was speaking to the audience took along sword and ran it through the basket,each way, and then down through the clothcover. I heard the sword cut through thewomans body, and the manager himselfsaid she was dead; but when the cloth waslifted from the basket she stepped out,smiled, and walked off the stage.
