Description
English: Photo from the United States Department of Agriculture Farmers’ Bulletin No. 1628 “Growing Black Locust Trees” with the following caption: “Fifteen-year-old black locust plantation in Cayuga County (near Ithaca), N. Y. The smaller trees are marked for cutting, which will leave a stand of trees at the rate of 322 per acre. The plantation is regarded as very successful.
