Description
English: Wood engraving illustration for the poem "The Minstrel's Curse" ("Des Sänger's Fluch") by Ludwig Uhland. Depicts two minstrels who have been singing in a king's court; the crowd of knights threw wreaths to them, but the hard-hearted king threw a weapon that pierced the younger minstrel fatally. Once a Week magazine, Volume 3, page 351.
