Here they sat side byside during long—-I had almost said weary hours; the hours would havebeen weary but for their enthusiasm. Here they sat side by side during thelong hours of the day listening to doctrines which they had been taught toregard with contempt, listening with respect, with sympathy, with an earnestdesire to learn something which would improve their own doctrines.
