After the close of Mr. Bonneys address, the great assemblyjoined with Dr. Eiiiil G. Hirsch in the Lords Prayer. Thiswas followed by a prayer of benediction delivered with greatearnestness by Bishop Keane. Dr. Barrows retired to the Hallof Washington, delivered his address, and after the multitudeshad joined with Dr. Hirsch in the universal prayer, and the THE CLOSE OF THE PARLIAMENT. I 87 benediction had been pronounced by Bishop Keane, he pro-nounced the Worlds first Parliament of Religions adjournedwithout day. Meantime, President Bonney, in the Hall of Col-umbus, invited the audience to join with the Apollo Club insinging America, after which the first great Parliament ofRelii):ions was declared closed.
