Barclay, William Leatham, M.A., Trin. Hall, Camb., 1882, of London, banker, a student of Lincoln's Inn 16 April, 1868 (then aged 22), called to the bar 1 May, 1871 (2nd son of Joseph Gurney Barclay, of Leyton, Essex, banker); born 26 June, 1845; mar. 1st, 20 June, 1872, Annette Amelia, eldest dau. of Joseph Tritton, of Upper Norwood; she died 6 April, 1873, leaving a dau.; he mar. 2ndly, 19 July, 1877, Ellen, eldest dau. of Jasper Capper Mounsey, of London (see Foster's Our Noble and Gentle Families).
