Leicestershire, a student of Lincoln's Inn 7 Nov., 1854 (then aged 23), called to the bar 6 June, 1857 (4th son of late William James Chaplin, M.P., of Ewhurst, Hants); born ⁠, 1831; married 12 May, 1864, Sophy Jane, dau. of Rev. Edward Elmhirst, B.A., rector of Showell, Rugby.
