Elliot, Hon. Arthur Ralph Douglas, M.P., M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1873, a member of the Northern circuit, M.P. co. Roxburgh since 1880, educated at Edinburgh Univ., a student of Lincoln's Inn 27 Jan., 1868, went to the Inner Temple 7 (then aged 23) and called to the bar there 17 Nov., 1870 (2nd son of Rt. Hon. William Hugh, 3rd earl of Minto); born 17 Dec, 1846 (see Foster's Peerage).
