Ellison, Thomas, judge of county courts (circuit No. 13) since 1863, educated at St. Mary's Coll., Oscott, a student of Gray's Inn 14 Jan., 1841, called to the bar 30 Jan., 1844 (2nd son of Michael E. Ellison, Esq., of Sheffield); born 27 Sept., 1818; married 10 Sept., 1853, Anne, eldest dau. of John Dalton, Esq., of Rose Bank, Mottram-in-Longdendale, and has issue.
