Hamel, Felix Hargrave de, law clerk to Board of Trade since 1867, chief clerk since 1876, author of International Law, of Law of Ritualism in United Church of England and Ireland, a student of the Inner Temple 30 March, 1858 (then aged 20), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1861 (eldest son of Felix John Hamel, Esq., of London, late solicitor to H.M. customs); born 7 Feb., 1838; married 14 Nov., 1869, Arabella Louisa, eldest dau. of Col. J. A. Hunter, of Clifton.
