St. John's Coll., Camb., practises before the supreme court at Hong Kong, a student of the Inner Temple 4 Nov., 1858 (then aged 23), called to the bar 6 June, 1861 (2nd son of late Thomas Hayllar, Esq., of Chichester); born ⁠, 1835; married 25 Jan., 1861, Frances Annette, eldest dau. of Charles G. Black, Esq., of Harrow-on-the-Hill.
