Lloyd, Clement Elphinstone, B.A. St. John's Coll., Oxon, from Winchester Coll., junior counsel to the Mint and Post Office on the North Wales and Chester circuit 1884, author of Lloyd's Practice of the Supreme Court, editor of Morgan Lloyd's Law and Practice of the County Courts, 8th edition, a student of the Inner Temple 2 May, 1873 (then aged 21), called to the bar 28 June, 1876 (eldest son of Morgan Lloyd, Q.C., M.P.); born 5 Sept., 1851.
