Coll., Oxon, 1852, from Winchester Coll., a student of the Inner Temple 26 April, 1853 (then aged 23), called to the bar 30 April, 1856, Q.C. 8 May, 1877, bencher 20 May, 1881 (eldest son of John North, of Liverpool, solicitor); born 10 Jan., 1830; married 14 April, 1857, Elizabeth, dau. of late William Mann, Esq., of Liscard, Cheshire (see Foster's Baronetage).
