Pepys, Hon. Walter Courtenay, late lieut. 60th rifles, a student of Lincoln's Inn 24 April, 1874 (then aged 33), called to the bar 25 April, 1877 (6th son of Charles, 1st Earl Cottenham, D.C.L., late lord high chancellor); born 27 Nov., 1840; married 4 Aug., 1874, Amy Harriet, only surviving child of Lieut.-Col. Thompson, of Ballyherin, co. Donegal, late 58th regt., and has issue (see Foster's Peerage).
