Ridley, Edward, M.A. Corpus Christi Coll., Oxon, fellow All Souls', M.P. South Northumberland 1878-80, a student of the Inner Temple 27 Jan., 1865 (then aged 21), called to the bar 6 June, 1868 (2nd son of Sir Matthew White Ridley, Bart.); born Aug., 1843; married 29 July, 1882, Alice, 2nd dau. of late W. Bromley Davenport, Esq., M.P., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
