Ross, Alexander Henry, M.P. Maidstone since 1880, M.A., Christ Church, Oxon, 1864, from Eton, late major West Kent militia, sometime member of Metropolitan Asylums Board, J.P. Middlesex, a student of the Inner Temple 17 Jan., 1851 (then aged 21), called to the bar 9 June, 1854 (2nd son of late Charles Ross, Esq.); born 21 Oct., 1829; married , 1859, Juliana, dau. of William Moseley, Esq., of Leaton Hall, co. Stafford, and has issue.
