Starling, Matthew Henry, LL.B., King's Coll., London, 1862, B.A. 1859, and a member of Convocation, author of Indian Criminal Law and Procedure, practises before the High Court of Bombay, a student of the Inner Temple 28 May, 1860 (then aged 22), called to the bar 30 April, 1863 (eldest son of Matthew James Starling, Esq., of Hastings); born 25 Dec., 1837; married 25 Sept., 1863, Ellen Matilda, eldest dau. of Henry Watkins, Esq., and has issue.
