Section 1

Seat of government.

Section 1

Seat of government.

The permanent seat of government for the state shall be Marion County.

Section 2

Erection of state house prior to 1865.

No tax shall be levied, or money of the State expended, or debt contracted for the erection of a State House prior to the year eighteen hundred and sixty five.–

Limitation on removal of seat of government; location of state institutions.
