THE ALPHABET.

The Burmese alphabet consists of ten vowels, သ​ရ, and thirty two consonants, ဗျည်း.

Vowels.

a, အာ a, ee, ee, ဥ, oo, oo, aa, အဲ ai, , au, au.

Consonants.

က ka, hka, ga, ga, nga;
tsa, htsa, dza, dza, ဉ, ည nya;
ta, hta, da, da, na;
ta, hta, da, da, na;
pa, hpa, ba, ba, ma;
ya, ra, la, wa,
tha, ha, la.

According to this arrangement, the first twenty five consonants are distributed into five classes.
