6. Mr. Wilson bought a lot of land for $1250. He built a house on it for $7650, and a stable that cost $1575. He paid $115 insurance on it and $95 for taxes. He sold it so as to gain $1275. What did he get for it?

7. Had he sold it for $12,875, how much would he have made ?

8. A business man deposits in a bank for a week, $425, $284, $425.75, $865.72, $470, $294. He gives checks for $125, $324.80, $215 and $565.82. Find the balance in the bank.
