NAGAOKA

Tenmanguwu in Nagaoka is a temple dedicated to an illustrious man named Kanko, who lived about the year 870.

He was so larned and virtious that he is worshiped as a god by the people till this day.

The man is worshiped in almost all parts of this country still.

This temple is built in a very nice situation, and lies in the west of the village, Kaiden.

It is 8 Ris from Sanjio.
