GEORGE BISSETT, Esq.

Passed his examination in Feb. 1810; and was made lieutenant into the Hyperion frigate, on the Jamaica station, Jan. 28th, 1811^[1]. He was advanced to his present rank on the 22d July 1830, and appointed inspecting commander of the coast-guard at Poole, co. Dorset, Aug. 30th, 1832.
