Why is this text such a presentation mess? It seems to render the text unusable especially without an explanation for the crossouts, etc. or what they may mean. Please advise why this would be kept here, in what I presumed would be a repository for works of importance. I came here for a finished copy of the speech President Eisenhower read to the public. This page is a digitalization of the papers which Eisenhower read from as he delivered the address, which he heavily edited beforehand. It is here because of its historical importance and interest.
