The Lay of the Last Minstrel (1805)

'The Lay of the Last Minstrel', a poem in six cantos, was first published in 1805. This transcription is of the first edition. It features extensive notes to each of the cantos, and links from the relevant verse to the accompanying note have been included. In a few instances, the wording in the work and the wording in the note differ somewhat.
The errors identified in the errata have been corrected, where possible, there being errors in the errata.
