English Translation Original Latin Line

Aufillena, to live content with one man alone
is the especial glory of all the glories of marriage -
but it is better to sleep with any man who's willing
than for a mother to conceive cousins from her uncle.

Aufillena, viro contentam vivere solo,
nuptarum laus ex laudibus eximiis:
sed cuivis quamuis potius succumbere par est,
quam matrem fratres efficere ex patruo.
