Query more than one page at a time[edit]

I'd like to suggest a change: https://en.wikisource.org/w/index.php?title=Special:ComparePages&page1=MediaWiki:Gadget-mark-proofread.js&page2=User:Samwilson/MarkProofread.js (ignore the loading stuff at the bottom, that's just for the userscript version).

This batches 50 pages at a time to get the revision info for, instead of querying the pages one at a time. Means most Indexes are done with one to three requests.

Thoughts?

Reckon just do it. It is an old script and one that predates numerous components. @Beau: just in case he is still hanging around and has interest for plWP. — billinghurst sDrewth 06:10, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, done! :) Let me know if you see any weirdness. Sam Wilson 06:57, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Huge difference on the most common pages we use when proofreading texts on Wikisource. This will make working on Wikisource substantially more pleasant, thank you! -Pete (talk) 16:32, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
