Me was translated to Bangor in 1709. 1769 Jonathan Shipley was elected bishop of Llandaii' ; 1st 9 Geo. I II. ,j an 1769, and confirmed nth Feb. He was conse- crated on the following day'. He was translated to St. Asaph in July of the same year.
